Thanks for being such a great ambassador of shooting sports. I'm getting dangerously close to being an old guy. I remember when you, Jessie, and Dave shot for Glock. I've been following y'all ever since along with Rob Leatham.

Bravo for another excellent article full of information and thought-provoking suggestions. When my wife wanted to get a handgun of her own rather than always shooting one of mine, she thought it silly and stupid when she viewed the various pink guns at the store. Certainly those guns will appeal to somebody, but also certainly turns off some women also. Thanks

Wonderfully written, as always. I’m glad the firearms industry is finally taking action on the size of the grip for smaller hands without making the firearms too small. It is a joy to help new and experienced individuals choose a new sidearm.

You being an ambassador for Smith&Wesson is a breeze with their M&P Easy line. 3 daughters and my beautiful wife love their features, ease of manipulation and accuracy. I’m especially excited about the new equalizer as I will be able to introduce them to shooting with an optic. Trijicon’s RMRcc easily comes to mind. Please keep sharing your prospective on women in shooting as my girls have become a huge fan of your career and beautiful family life.

So happy to hear that and thank you so much!

I'm a guy, but I find pink less repulsive than light purple. (Don't get me started on turquoise.....)

So, none of those Taurus Miami Vice guns? 😂

This is so well written! I like that instead of taking the typical, “ Why must it be pink?” stance, you highlight the fact that to fit smaller people with less muscular strength, something must be smaller and lighter. As well as addressing the fact that people do gravitate towards things, they like the look of -whether that’s color or pattern or design…” To each his own” is a saying for a reason.

Thanks so much and I agree. To each his own!

Very well written! From a ladies perspective you are right, if they want pink, poco dot, purple then let it be. As you and a few know I love red, some of my guns are red and no shame in it. What you do to bring more women into the sport reminds me of one other lady, that’s Annie Oakley. Yes you are the modern day version of. Thank you for what you do!🙌☝️💪👍🤗

I think you are spot on. What works for one woman doesn't always work for another. It's nice that gun manufacturers are creating lighter guns that are easier to rack for those of us with smaller hands. Whatever color or kind I'm just thrilled so many woman are learning to protect themselves and their family. Bonus is the wonderful friendships made along the way.

I'm with you. It's never been more welcoming for women and I can't wait to see where that momentum takes us.

I taught my wife and she settled on a 9mm Shield as it fits her hand the best. She tried out my old Chiefs Special and took possession. It's what she carries berry picking with stout hand loads using 148 WC's. Military daughter though had to have a purple frame so I bought a sand colored one, dyed it on the stove purple and she loves it. Two women, two very different ideas. Both tried MP 40cal and 10mm Shield but their comfort level seemed to be 9mm and 38sp especially my Target Masterpiece. I drew the line and told them to buy their own :)

I've taught all my girlfriends to shoot as I think it's important and what they all really wanted was someone to be patient and not talk down to them.
